The Caribbean Association of Texas (CAT) is a 501(c)(7) organization, which serves the Caribbean community in Texas. Every year we host a number of events and the proceeds are used to give back to the community.
To all of our friends and family who attended the Caribbean Association of Texas 2024 T&T Independence event, we want to shout out a big “THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT, WE REALLY APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU”. The evening was elegant with great food, beverages, and entertainment. International Soca Artiste Johnny Blackman(the son of Ras Shorty I), performed some of his father’s hits, and took us back to the origins of Soca, in addition to some of his original hits. He also sang hits by Blaxx, and Black Stalin. After the live entertainment, DJs Smithy(Red Assassin), and Supa Slim rocked the house with back in time Soca to 2024 Road March DNA.

Membership in CAT is open to all who would like to join, and contribute to the goals of the organization. CAT members hail from many Caribbean nationalities and a variety of professions and membership offers great social and business networking opportunities, and lots of fun.
Our giving back to the community campaigns not only enrich the lives of the recipients, it also gives our members a sense of personal fulfillment.
